Welcome to The Sunday Digest — a free Sunday newsletter featuring long (and some short) reads, original columns, things I’ve saved over the last week, relaxing playlists, episodes releases, exclusive product drops, and more. Yes, you can reply to this email. I’d love to hear from you. Or, if podcasts are more your speed on Sundays, we’ve got that too.
Relaxing Watch › Cabo San Lucas at Sunrise
Long ago on The Sunday Scaries Podcast, I did a segment on “Slow TV” — a type of television that can serve more as background than anything, allowing you as the viewer to simply enjoy the ride or scenery. Train rides, sunsets, ferry rides, the list goes on when it comes to the genre.
When I go on trips, I have very few requests other than, “Can we make sure our room has a view?” I’ve begun recording the best views I can find, as you can see from here in Lake Como and here in Tennessee. And now, we have a sunrise from the our roof in Cabo San Lucas.
I woke up at 5 a.m. each morning we were there in hopes of getting a good video. Most of the time, I am pretty satisfied first try. But due to numerous user errors this trip, I didn’t get one until our final morning.
Luckily for me, it was my favorite sunrise of the trip.

New Episode › Retail Therapy 110: Brick, Mortar, and Jean Jackets
Some final thoughts on Season 3 of White Lotus, the 3-hour wait to get into the Stussy NYC store (plus a greater retail location discussion), the Aime Leon Dore denim jacket that somehow became the item of the season for them, washing yourself of digital devices, White Boy Summer Reading, Bode embroidery, tariffs, wishlist items, and more.

Things I Saved This Week
Additional Reading
Earlier this week, I shared photos from my experience at the 2024 Masters in the Postcards section of the Substack. I hope you find yourself in a relaxing setting for today’s final round.
I also shared the first edition of Things Girls Do, a continuation of a series that will now live here. I’m really excited to dive back into some fiction writing and I think ‘Girl’ is the best vehicle for it. If you’re unfamiliar with her, well, she’s a lot.
