MBA person, what you learn in your program isn't what's important: it's the connections you make. Yes, it feels shitty to have to go hat in hand to your cohort, your instructors, and (ugh) the career services office to ask for introductions or connections or advice, but you have to do it.
Plus, be realistic about the timelines of relationships you've built during your program paying off immediately after you graduate. One of my instructors from my masters' program called me a full year after I graduated and said "hey a job is opening up on my team, do you want to come in and talk about it?" I ended up staying with that company for more than five years!
Yo I just saw on Instagram, that you are on Mallorca.
Here in Germany we call this the unofficial 17th state of Germany.
If you really want to see humanity at its worst, I can recommend a walk/ride down to “Schinkenstrasse” and see people at their worst and feeling better about taking the early flight/staying sober/ getting a good night of sleep.
It's normal to want the house to yourself for a little while!! Tell your husband to go visit a friend if he doesn't have a work trip coming up!
