The Sunday Digest 172
"I found my dancing shoes but they don't fit, all the bright lights do is bore me."

Sunday Watch: Room No. 208
by Sunday Scaries
Things have been intentionally quiet on my end this past week as we spent a few nights in a place I’ve never visited before: Montecito, California. While staying at Rosewood Miramar Beach, the view from our room was too incredible to not document in some way.
I didn’t set out to make this exact short. It kind of just found me after I had begun taking several horizontal videos. What you see above is the product of a lot of downtime and leisure — two luxuries in and of themselves.
This video is currently “unlisted” and only available here as I’m not certain I’m totally finished editing it yet. I’ve admittedly been trying to teach myself video editing more and more, and this was a very approachable way to learn some things in hopes I can do more in the future.
As I’ve learned with many travel videos I’ve done in the past, they’re usually a way for me to hold on to that vacation feeling long after we’ve returned home. I’m sure I’ll watch this often. At the very least, putting together all these videos of waves crashing made yesterday’s flight feel like a day at the beach. I guess that’s the goal.
The Sunday Haiku: “I should probably unpack.”
How long will it sit?
A relic of a good week,
filled with dirty clothes.
New Episode › Retail Therapy 145: Put It On The Prep Moodboard
Barrett returns from Mexico City, a look at the prep-filled menswear spring launches we've seen thus far (J. Press, Noah, Aime Leon Dore, and more), talking the most recent episode of Traitors, the Carolyn Bessette Kennedy fashion wave, and more.

Things I Saved This Week
My Sunday To-Do List
After returning home late last night, I simply need to get organized.
Unpack, as you can tell from today’s Sunday Haiku.
Both Manchester United and Austin F.C. play today, so I’d like to watch one of the matches live.
It looks like I had some flowers dry out while I was gone so it’s time to go into rehab mode before the major garden overhaul later this month.
Get four rolls of film developed from California.
After waking up to numerous pieces of news that no one should have to wake up to on a seemingly normal Sunday, I hope everyone can find some undisturbed leisure time today whether you’re searching for it or not.
— Will
P.S. Yes, I’m still going to do the stationary to-do lists from the last couple weeks. They’ll resume next week.
