Welcome to The Sunday Digest — a free Sunday newsletter featuring long (and some short) reads, original columns, things I’ve saved over the last week, relaxing playlists, episodes releases, exclusive product drops, and more. Yes, you can reply to this email. I’d love to hear from you. Or, if podcasts are more your speed on Sundays, we’ve got that too.
Sunday Watch › All That Is Sacred
by YETI
In lieu of a Sunday Read this week, I thought we’d switch things up and turn off our brains for a bit.
While feeding my son a few weeks ago, “All That Is Sacred” from Yeti appeared on my YouTube menu. Knowing Yeti has a good reputation for their original content (especially here in Austin), I dove in without any real hesitation. But after seeing how much old footage there was of people like Jim Harrison, Richard Brautigan, Russell Chatham and Jimmy Buffett, I was hooked.

Everything merry,
but four o’clock, on the dot,
things get quite scary.
New Episode › Retail Therapy 086: Listener Questions, Part II
Today, we started off with some luggage talk and future schedule through August. But in the bulk today's episode, we answer even more listener questions: how much we take trends into consideration when getting dressed, help for dad's trying to dress relevant, watch recommendations for someone starting their career, taking the dive into expensive watches, alternatives for Sambas aka Rishis, trends to keep an eye on as we approach fall, and more.
We also talk went through some articles of interest pertaining to Barry Keoghan's Manchester United campaign, going "Monk Mode," the rise of cassette tapes, and the new Anthony Bourdain biopic. And, of course, we added to our wishlists.

Things I Saved This Week
Today’s Playlist: Hey Arnold Jazzy Vibes
I had trouble finding parking for my haircut on Friday. However, knowing I was going to pop into the record store after, I decided to dip into their lot and park there before walking a block for my appointment. With a few minutes to spare, I thought I’d look through my favorite section at Waterloo Records in Austin — “Used and Rare-ish.” My jaw dropped when I saw this:
Like many people in my demographic, Hey Arnold! was just about the most formative cartoon of my childhood — from his bedroom right down to the jazzy soundtrack.
Knowing I couldn’t buy this and leave it in my car (you know, with it being 102 degrees in Austin), I decided I’d hope no one else would buy it in the 45-minute span. But unfortunately, it was gone upon my return.
My best supplement this week? This Hey Arnold!-y playlist I found on Spotify before my drive home. I hope you enjoy.
