Sunday Read: How Much Does Bella Hadid’s Morning Routine Cost?
by Asia Milia Ware for The Cut
Okay, I just added up my entire morning routine and here’s every product from it because I just really needed to know how I stack up to Bella Hadid after reading this week’s Sunday Read. Here’s a list of everything — and I mean everything — I use every morning:
Arm & Hammer Complete Car Toothpaste ($6.99)
Jack Black Beard Lube ($18)
Jack Black Beard Wash ($19)
Sangre de Fruta Morning Light Cream ($68)
Kevin Murphy Rough Rider Hair Clay ($35)
If it’s not there, I’m not using it. And while I feel overly-bougie sometimes when I’m dipping into that morning light cream, I can now just turn to Bella and feel less bad about my over-indulgence.
Here’s an excerpt from this week’s read:
Bella Hadid wakes up in the morning and ingests the following: a mixture of three tinctures; about eight ounces of gut support; 13 pills of assorted colors; a green juice; a gulp of sea-moss gel; a swig of fulvic acid; a glass of tonic trace minerals; and a croissant to wash it all down, for balance, ya know. How do we know? The 27-year-old model showed off her morning-wellness routine in a recent TikTok, which includes more supplements than a naturopath: “Mornings with me before we start making things for you,” she said before tagging her upcoming brand, Orebella.

Things I Saved This Week
Supplemental Reading
This week on Washed Weekly, I did a reprise (sequel? continuation?) of what was formally known as Things Girls Do After Graduation, an ongoing fiction I wrote weekly at Post Grad Problems. While I can’t promise this will be weekly, you can read the first edition of the new series here. And yes, it was nice to hang out with Girl again.
