It’s not too often that our Sunday Read coincides with this week’s episode of The Sunday Scaries Podcast, but I’d be lying if the concept of friendship (and especially male friendship) hasn’t been something on my mind as of late. And from what I can tell, there’s no shortage of resources out there that will support the idea that we should all be very aware of maintaining our friendships as we age.
Here’s a (very) brief excerpt.
“I think men have been convinced that success in life does not necessarily include friendship — that if they’re successful at work or they’ve started a family, they’ve won,” Mr. Ritter said. “Our definition has always included having these thriving friendships.”

Last year, I purchased all the equipment I’d need in order to start doodling digitally on my iPad. While I had a nice stint of getting back in the groove, I still found myself losing my fervor for it after a few weeks.
Seeing this week’s relaxing follow, however, has made me wish I kept with it. Maybe I should pass some time this weekend doodling away. Maybe.
