Welcome to The Sunday Digest — a free Sunday newsletter featuring long (and some short) reads, original columns, things I’ve saved over the last week, relaxing playlists, episodes releases, exclusive product drops, and more. Yes, you can reply to this email. I’d love to hear from you. Or, if podcasts are more your speed on Sundays, we’ve got that too.
The Sunday Haiku: When The Stream Runs Dry

Random Panic Room of the Week
The Good: The couch that you could easily spend two feature-length films on, the rug that you won’t mind lying on in between those movies, and the palate of this entire scene is 🤌.
The Bad: To say this Panic Room needs some blackout curtains would be an understatement, but beggars can’t be choosers when you’re dealing with a space like this.
The Uncomfortable: If I arrive with some bagels in-hand for the crew and the only seat left is that rigid chair in the lefthand corner, well, it’s safe to say I’m heading home with a bunch of bagels.
Get Your Valentine’s Day Shopping Done: Sunday Scaries Scented Candles
Oh, you’re “not doing gifts this year” for Valentine’s Day? Go ahead and see how not buying anything works out for you. Or, conversely, you can nip this now by locking down a scented candle from the Sunday Scaries line before it’s too late.
Sunday Read: The Real Estate in And Just Like That Is Stealing the Show
By Jessica Cherner for Architectural Digest
Admission time — I’ve only watched about 40 minutes of And Just Like That and have only viewed about a dozen total episodes of Sex and the City. That being said, it’s always been a show that I’ve thought I could easily dive into and love.
What I do love, however, is pretty much anything set in New York City. And you’d be hard-pressed to find many shows that showcase the city in a more picturesque light than SATC.
This week’s Sunday Read hails from Architectural Digest. An excerpt:
In Sex and the City’s fourth season, over toast points and diner coffee, Carrie said, “New York is a town of renters. Everybody rents,” to which Samantha, Miranda, and Charlotte respond, “I don’t.” And by the end of the episode, Carrie doesn’t either. In fact, after purchasing her Upper East Side studio in a historic brownstone, she kept it in her real estate portfolio for decades to come. Like Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte still live in the homes they purchased back in the early seasons of the original show. And real estate is just as much a series regular as the fashionable trio.

New Episode: The Importance of Alone Time, Building A Fire, and Sunday Movies To Cry To
This week's episode discusses the therapeutic feeling of building a fire, why you need to take more advantage of your alone time, and four Sunday movies to cry to when you simply need to feel something.
